Cork - Steady Ninth-Wicket Stand.
The final day of the LV County Championship Division One clash between Lancashire and Sussex at Old Trafford was washed out.
Sussex claimed 10 points from the draw while Lancashire took eight.
Sussex will, however, be the more disappointed of the two sides having been in pole position to secure a three-day win at tea yesterday.
Lancashire were tottering on 181 for eight with a second-innings lead of just 71 and only two wickets remaining.
But Glen Chapple and Dominic Cork shared a ninth-wicket stand of 78 to make sure the game drifted into today's fourth day.
Sussex, who leapfrog Lancashire by one point in the table, now have a week off while Lancashire face a Roses battle against Yorkshire at Old Trafford, starting on Tuesday.
