Chingoka - seeking advice.
Zimbabwe will not renege on a deal to withdraw from next year's Twenty20 World Cup, ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said ahead of Wednesday's meeting to resolve the issue.
Cricket officials from Zimbabwe are traveling to Dubai to seek assurances from the International Cricket Council over details of its pullout, which prevented next June's tournament from being plunged into turmoil.
Zimbabwe withdrew last month in a compromise which saw it retain full ICC status and participation fees. Its move came after the British government told the African nation that visas would not be granted to tour England in protest at Robert Mugabe's victory in a widely discredited presidential election. The England and Wales Cricket Board responded to the election by cutting ties with Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe Cricket's board is yet to endorse the deal agreed by chairman Peter Chingoka at the ICC's annual conference.
"They are not reneging on the deal, they have asked us to clarify a few issues to get some certainty over some issues," Lorgat told The Associated Press.
"I think it's more about just clearing some of the matters that are bothering them.
