Vettori and co will take on India and the Windies.
New Zealand Cricket have announced their schedule for the coming summer, with two Tests and five one-day internationals for the touring West Indies and India sides.
The former will arrive before Christmas to play Test matches at Dunedin and Napier, and will then take part in two Twenty20 internationals before a five-match ODI series.
India will arrive in March with one Twenty20 game preceding the serious action, culminating in a two-Test series played in Hamilton and Wellington.
"They are two teams who are both on the rise and they will provide a good measure of where we are at in our own development," said New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori.
