Stanford Superstars - the team who take on England for a £10million Twenty20 purse - today named their squad for the November 1 contest.

West Indies great Sir Viv Richards, chairman of the Stanford selectors, named a combination of established names and unknowns in a 17-man party.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Daren Powell and Jerome Taylor are among the household names to prepare for the match in Antigua.

"We (the Stanford Superstars selection panel) believe this squad is very capable of doing justice to their selection to the Stanford Superstars squad to face England for the unprecedented purse," Richards said.

"There are several familiar faces in this Stanford Superstars squad but there are some exciting new additions such as Lindon James, Lionel Baker and Chad Hampson."
