India Include Uncapped Duo

Bhajji is back after completing his ban.

Uncapped duo Rohit Sharma and Pragyan Ojha have been included in India's 16-man squad for the three-Test series in Sri Lanka.

As expected, one-day skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is left out of the touring party after he called for a breather following a hectic schedule for the past two years.

Dinesh Karthik and Parthiv Patel will be vying for the wicketkeeping duties in the absence of Dhoni while Virender Sehwag will take over the vice-captaincy.

All-rounder Yuvraj Singh is another player who is being "rested" for the series.

Gautam Gambhir makes a welcome return to the Test squad after showing superb form during the IPL and recent one-day Internationals, while fast bowler Zaheer Khan is back after recovering from injury.

Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar also return to the India set-up after missing recent ODI tours due to suspension and injury respectively.

Wasim Jaffer, Irfan Pathan and Piyush Chawla are the notable omissions from the squad.
