Irish Welcome Back Porterfield

Porterfield - will captain Ireland.

Gloucestershire's Will Porterfield will return to captain Ireland in their World Twenty20 qualifiers next month.

Porterfield opted out of the recent Tri-Series matches against New Zealand and Scotland due to his county commitments.

Trent Johnston, captain at last year's World Cup, is also included in the squad with both Alex Cusack and Kevin O'Brien back from injury.

Ireland host the six-team qualifying tournament from August 2-4. Scotland, Bermuda, Kenya, Holland and Canada also feature.
